Hi there and welcome on this mini-site around the barcamp we’re organizing around the topic:
“The web links into the world” (And vice-versa)
About semantics, techniques (QR, NFC, RFID, <yours here>)
and dreams in a world linked to the Interwebs.
Turning the page between 2011 and 2012 all analysts start publishing their lists of what to expect in the coming year (and often forgetting to review what didn’t come true from last years list).
Regardless of when exactly things will (have) happen(ed), a lot of trend-watchers are pointing to the new trinity “SoLoMo” (Social, Local, Mobile) as the one(s) to follow up on.
In our minds the combining qualifier in these trends is how to make use (and sense) of the ever growing digital links around us between the real world and the web. These linked up objects include the wide span of business cards, art objects, war cemeteries, public toilets, money, advertisements, train time tables, … and whatnot.
So, to kick of our own dreams and wishes in 2012 in this domain we offer this open invitation to this informal gathering of speakers. Be welcomed to present your ideas, and learn from your peers.
